'I've been a lucky guy over the years': As for being named the number one reason to love America, Dwayne (seen in August 2019) insisted that he was even more humbled to receive the honor than when he was named People's Sexiest Man Alive of 2016.

'I love our country to my core and I'm endlessly grateful for the opportunities I've had here, as a half-Black, half-Samoan kid being able to work my a*s off knowing tenacity opens doors,' he told the outlet.

'I love our country to my core and I'm endlessly grateful for the opportunities I've had here, as a half-Black, half-Samoan kid being able to work my a*s off knowing tenacity opens doors,' he told the outlet.

'I do have that goal to unite our country and I also feel that if this is what the people want, then I will do that,' Johnson told Today in April

The Rock was named the number one reason to love America by People magazine on Wednesday
