Hamilton County to stay at purple on advisory map despite improvement in numbers, officials say - WLWT Cincinnati

Hamilton County officials said the county will stay at purple on Ohio’s COVID-19 advisory map for another week despite seeing an improvement in COVID-19 case numbers.

Kesterman said the county is still continuing to see a lot of COVID-19 activity, with over 10,000 known cases in community, which is a reason why the county turned purple.

Officials announced a new partnership with the Hamilton County Board of Elections, Hamilton County Public Health to move its main COVID-19 vaccine clinic to the Hamilton County Board of Elections Early Vote Center.

“The space also allows us to efficiently administer vaccines, with ample room to move people through, while providing enough space for people to remain following their vaccine to check for vaccine tolerance”, says Hamilton County Public Health Commissioner Greg Kesterman.
