"The Last Dance" documentary gave fans an extremely in-depth look at all the ins-and-outs of Michael Jordan's final season with the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls along with a plethora of other major moments from throughout his illustrious career.

However, there's so much lore surrounding Jordan's NBA story that even a 10-part series can't fit all of the anecdotes in. .

During a recent appearance on "The Pushin' Thru Podcast," Jason Hehir, the director of the documentary, revealed an excellent story involving Jordan and legendary NBA coach Pat Riley he was ultimately unable to fit into the documentary.

The story, told by Riley to Hehir, involved Riley and Jordan staying at the same Hawaiian resort, and Jordan using his superstar sway to usurp Riley's suite. .

"It was after 1992 or 1993, and they're in Hawaii, and Riley is staying in the presidential suite of this gorgeous resort in Hawaii," Hehir says.

As a head coach, Riley's New York Knicks lost to Jordan's Bulls in the postseason several times throughout the 1990s, so apparently Jordan was able to get the best of Riley, both on and off of the court.
