Update: Here's a friendly reminder that Nintendo's huge Digital Deals sale is ending later today in North America; the sale will remain live in Europe up until 27th June?

Original Article (Wed 16th Jun, 2021 12:30 BST): Nintendo has kicked off a mighty Digital Deals sale on the Switch eShop across Europe and North America, discounting plenty of its own major releases in the process.

The sales are slightly different across each region (Europe's boasting discounts of up to 75% off, while North America only has up to 50% off), so we'd urge you to visit the eShop in your region to see all the deals for yourself.

The deals listed above will remain live on the eShop up until 11:59pm PT on 21st June; Europe's sale ends a little later on 27th June.

Have you found any other deals on the eShop that you'd recommend.

headsup that many of these are also discounted digitally on Amazon, so you can buy there and get the full coin balance as if you paid full price on the eshop.

Would love to be able to just buy and then play some of these but Nintendos bungling of the last patch means I still can't download or update anything at all and with no information coming from regarding a fix I don't know when I will be able to again.

This doesn't always work on the first try, but eventually the bungled download goes through.

These sales might not be very successfull,since the latest switch system update is bugged.People can't download digital game/DLC/game updates.

@pigcop Not all European countries have a dedicated Nintendo site for them?

As an example, I live in Greece, yet there is no dedicated Nintendo page for Greece.

I have to use the UK & Ireland site to see the games, deals, prices (converted to EUR since I'm signed in), and buy any games if I want to.

But the question is : WHEN will we be able to download some of them!

@gurtifus I think my switch is still buggy from the update, because I had try to download a game like 10 times last night.

@bluemage1989 just keep clicking through the okay/continue button when the message pops up that it won’t download!

Then I try to download whatever game I want, with nothing else in the queue.

Redeem it in the eshop.

Get more coins than you would in the eshop (because Nintendo doesn't know how much you bought it for)?

Fingers crossed it gets sorted soon and that I can download the patch!.

I was hoping e3 would slash the price in a sale.

Nintendo's discounts on its own games never fails to make me laugh.

The other "discounts" on 1st party games are - as always - not really enough to make something I don't already own a must-grab of sorts 😅.

The thing is Nintendo games themselves don't ever go further than 30%.

Nintendo doesn't know when a reseller sells the Games lower.

Some games are placed on there awaiting sales.

There's a bit I'd like to buy, but since I can't download anything thanks to Nintendo bricking my Switch...

Why I even expected real sale for Nintendo Exclusives this time, because it's another usual 30%, because I don't have luxury to buy 50+€/$ games with maximum 30% off yet.

I'm struggling with downloading too - it took lots of retrying/cancelling/restarting/black voodoo magic to finally get that game to download.

I don't believe it is a connection issue as I can still access the eshop and news pages (and both are up to date) and the connection test is successful every time I do it.

Just to let you know the steps I followed in order were, clear the cache in system settings, restart the Switch, follow the steps I posted above, clicked on the download on the home screen, after the error click Continue.

Hope you get it sorted soon, I was pulling my hair out because I had just bought Hades and Crash Trilogy and they wouldn't download!

Great tons of games we can’t download….

I am sure Nintendo are working on a new patch but it really highlights the vulnerability that comes from owning digital media?

Wanted some metal slug games and specially Garou.

I love Nintendo, and own most of the games listed, but they really should consider at least a 50% on games that are years old

Especially since they are digital games

There is so much stuff on sale my Switch gave up loading the eShop list after a while lol

I held passed up a lot of games I own on other consoles even tho it was really tempting, but did pick up the kingdom hearts rhythm game, I wasn’t too into the demo but said screw it and I’m having a blast with it

And unlike back then I'm done with the Switch games I really wanted to play

Yeah, I wont be buying anything new until I can actually download it

For anyone in USA still looking to cash in on this sale, Target will price match and they also having a buy 2 games and get 1 free promotion going on

Good way to get physical copies of games during a digital sale and still get 1 extra game in the process

I actually ended up getting 4 physical games myself due to target price matching

Well worth it for like $75ish for all those games

Have you found any other deals on the eShop that you'd recommend

(remembers having had found what I had believed to have had been a certain Super Bomberman R as part of what I had believed to have had been a certain sale for a certain eShop mentioned in the article (specifically a North American eShop))

@TDRsuperstar2 I went to Nintendo.com and clicked my way to deals and sales

Walked over to cashier and showed them the prices for the digital games and scrolled to each game I wanted to purchase

Just ask any sales associate to price match and tell them they can check for themselves on the official Nintendo website if they do not believe you
