A team of Orange County and Florida Department of Health inspectors visited the theme parks Tuesday to determine if the operators were in compliance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s guidelines and Florida Gov.

So far, 39 people infected with COVID-19 in Orange County have died, but 80% of those in the county who have tested positive for the virus have fully recovered?

There remain 320 active cases of the virus in the county.

Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings and Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer are giving a live update on the status of COVID-19 in the county.

Health officials reported seven new coronavirus-related deaths and 509 new cases of the virus statewide since Monday.

The total number of cases in the state is now at 52,255, with deaths at 2,259.

One of the new deaths was reported in Polk County.
