Ubisoft Finds Yet Another Way to Bring Back Sam Fisher Outside of a Splinter Cell Game - Push Square
Aug 12, 2020 2 mins, 0 secs

Yes, Rainbow Six: Siege is absolutely an excellent multiplayer game, but this is getting to the point of ridicule.

Ubisoft is adding Sam Fisher of Splinter Cell fame to its popular online title.

The silent assassin will be the tactical experience's next Operator, meaning he is appearing in nearly every game that makes up Ubisoft's portfolio outside of an actual Splinter Cell game.

To be fair, we're sure Sam Fisher will do just fine in the world of Rainbow Six: Siege, but this isn't what the wider community is looking for.

Come on Ubisoft, give us that Splinter Cell reboot.

Outside of video games, he can be found tirelessly supporting Derby County, unfortunately.

Is it to hard to make a game now.

Ubisoft are probably just trying to workout how to add micro transactions to a single player stealth game.

This is a joke at this point..Include him in everything except a Splinter Cell game

All Ubisoft games feel the same nowadays

There must be a game in development

I’ve never known a character to be utilised so much outside of an actual game in their franchise

I wish Ubisoft would sell the Splinter Cell rights to another team, like Insomniac or Naughty Dog

I’m worried the next SC game will be a generic open world RPG looter with absolutely no connection to what made Splinter Cell great

It’ll be designed around micro transactions, poor AI & the biggest map ever for a video game

They are just trolling us at this point but hopefully they have a next gen Splinter Cell to announce at some point in the near future, they seem to be using SF in few games of late so I suspect something is brewing

Ubisoft are probably still trying to figure out how to squeeze a stealth game into their open world cookie cutter

UbiSoft don't care for gamers fan base about any of there IPs they want you to play there boring generic same game slightly different story but the same ideas fetch quests etc games
