The new CPUs, including the Core i9-12900K, Core i7-12700K and Core i5-12600K, all feature Hybrid cores, with smaller more power-efficient cores mixing in with larger more powerful high-frequency ones.

The Core i7-12700K looks set to have 12 cores in total (compared to just eight with the Core i7-11700K) (in an 8/4 core big/small configuration and finally, the Core i5-12900K appears to have 10 cores (compared to six for the Core i5-11600K) in a 6/4 big/small configuration.
