Delta Goodrem previews her upcoming Global Citizen Live performance - Nine

On an international scale, Global Citizen organised One World: Together at Home, a concert that supported the World Health Organization and aimed to promote the practice of social distancing.

Delta Goodrem was one of the artists chosen for the event (it was curated by Lady Gaga) and the global exposure meant she earned many more fans, who were blown away by her performance of 'Together We Are One'.

So it's no surprise that Delta, 36, was tapped again for Global Citizen Live, a 24-hour streaming event airing this weekend (it kicks off in Australia on Sunday, September 26 at 3am, on 9Now).

"The 24-hour event will call on citizens to defend the planet by demanding that governments and major corporations take urgent action on the most pressing issues crippling our world today: poverty, climate change and inequality," reads the release for Global Citizen Live.

Due to the current COVID situation that we're facing in Australia right now, my performance is COVID-safe under strict protocols so you will see me at the piano, outside the magical east sails of the Sydney Opera House.
