Gal Gadot has opened up about her clash with disgraced Hollywood director Joss Whedon.
The 36-year-old Israeli actress, who got her big break when she was cast as Wonder Woman four years ago, was allegedly verbally abused by Whedon on the set of 2017’s Justice League.
She finally broke her silence when she told Israeli TV in May that Whedon “kind of threatened my career and said if I did something, he would make my career miserable”.
However, The Hollywood Reporter reported in April that Whedon and Gadot had clashed over aspects of her character in the film, and how it would contrast to the Wonder Woman films.
“She wanted to make the character flow from one movie to the next,” the source told THR, which reported that Whedon had made changes to the Justice League script and wanted Gadot to record new lines which the actress felt didn’t align with her character.
