But his skills with the ladies were really put to the test as he faced his first kiss, live on radio, during a segment on the KIIS FM Kyle and Jackie O Show.
Kyle looked absolutely stunned — and a little bit horrified — as she grabbed Lachy and went straight into it before they could even start the timer.
As the timer went off to end the kiss it looked like both Lachy and Brittney were both having trouble separating.
"But you were really good, for your first kiss, that was amazing.
During his first day interning with Kyle and Jackie O he took the plunge and asked her out on a date.
"Am I your sort of guy?" Lachy asked a stunned Jackie O.
Even Kyle was stunned to see just how easily Lachy could pull something together, live on air as well.
