Emmerdale’s Nicola Wheeler’s health battle as soap star needed major surgery - RSVP Live

The soap star has been very busy lately as her character is dealing with a severe anxiety disorder after being attacked, mugged and left bleeding by a group of teenage girls.

The soap star disappeared from work for a couple of months to recuperate before returning to set.

She said: “I took a couple of months off for a hip replacement and they told me about this story.

While Nicola hasn't spoken too much about her health, she did leave the soap for a few months after welcoming her son Jude, who was born in 2015.
