Search for missing girl, 12, ends after her body is found in river - Mirror Online

The body of a 12-year-old girl has been found by police after she got into difficulty in the River Leven, near Balloch Bridge, West Dumbartonshire, on Sunday evening.

The body of a missing 12-year-old girl has been pulled from a river in west Scotland following a three-hour police search.

In a statement on Twitter, West Dumbartonshire Police said during the search officers were focused in Balloch Road, between the junctions at Ben Lomond Way and Dalavait Road, which were closed.
