Weather delays launch of Elon Musk's SpaceX mission - The Times

Crowds and camper vans started gathering on beaches and roads around the Kennedy Space Centre at Cape Canaveral yesterday afternoon and grew bigger today as the US prepared to launch two astronauts on a privately built spacecraft for the first time.

The Falcon 9 rocket carrying Crew Dragon — built by Elon Musk’s SpaceX company — is scheduled to lift off at 9.33pm British summer time.

This time is based on precise calculations that take into account the rotation of the Earth and the relative locations of the launch.
