Drew Barrymore yanks talk show after breaking Hollywood writers' strike

She recently shared that production for her self-named series would resume despite the writers' union WGA's ongoing strike still impacting Hollywood.

"I have no words to express my deepest apologies to anyone I have hurt and, of course, to our incredible team who works on the show and has made it what it is today.

(Image: CBS)Earlier in the week, the Never Been Kissed actress posted a video apologising for her decision for her talk show to return while protests continue.

She tearfully stated that she takes "full responsibility" for her actions but the video on Instagram, as well as a post announcing that filming will continue, have since been deleted.
