Reggie Fils-Aimé Will Be A Presenter At This Year's Game Awards - Nintendo Life

Looking for more reasons to sit through the tediously long Game Awards show this year.

Well, in a bit of good news for Nintendo fans, it's been revealed that former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aimé will be a presenter at the show.

The event will be hosted once again by Geoff Keighley, but will also feature guest presenters throughout – yesterday it was revealed that Shang-Chi star Simu Liu would be getting involved, and now we have confirmation that the Reggienator is on board.

The Game Awards 2021 takes place on 9th/10th December depending on your time zone and will be viewable on YouTube and Twitch.

An announcement that has been 2,5 years in the making and 2,5 years ago Reggie has been seen with a metroid shirt at the game awards stage just a couple of weeks before the game awards.

I miss Reggie...

Seriously though, if Nintendo ever decides to make Mother 3, Reggie would be the best presenter to bring back on board to announce it.

At this point I like Reggie as much as I like Mother 3.

There's this constant worry that Reggie would break his perfect-attendence at The Game Awards.

Reggie is for The Game Awards what Undertaker used to be for Wrestlemania.

@Meteoroid Nothing major, but he said he was retiring from Nintendo so he spend time with his family, but seems to often be busy with other things

It really is none of your business what he does or doesn't choose to spend his time on

Honestly, if all presenters were the at least the same caliber as Reggie I might watch one of these, but I don't waste time on overlong, pointless award shows, no matter what it's for
