Slough enters Tier 2 as Covid-19 cases rise at an 'alarming rate' - Slough and Windsor Observer

SLOUGH will go into tier two starting from Saturday 'given the alarming rapid rise in Covid cases' the borough's MP announces.

Tan Dhesi, Slough MP, announced the borough will go into ‘high’ alert following meetings with health minister Nadine Dorries and with agreement with Slough Borough Council and Public Health.

Slough Borough Council clarified these changes will go into full force on Saturday after one minute past midnight.

The borough was originally in tier one or 'medium' alert level.

In total, Slough has 1,522 total cases to October 21.
