The latest figures from the Office for National Statistics show that the number of deaths registered in England and Wales in the week ending 3 July involving COVID-19 was 532.Meanwhile, the figures show that five regions in England had deaths below the five-year average in the week ending 3 July.In Wales, the number of deaths registered in the week to July 3 was 5.2% above the five-year average.In total, 9,140 deaths were registered in England and Wales in the week up to 3 July.
