Pixel Notepad may be Google's first foldable smartphone, will likely cost less than Galaxy Z Fold 3 - India Today

A foldable smartphone by Google is repeatedly being hinted at over the past couple of months.

In another such update, a report now notes that the upcoming foldable by Google may be named "Pixel Notepad" and may cost much less than what was previously expected.

As per the publication, the company is going with the name Pixel Notepad for its first-ever foldable phone.

It was earlier thought that the company would go for the name Pixel Fold for its foldable device.

The source of the publications also revealed that Google may launch the Pixel Notepad at a lower price point than the Galaxy Z Fold 3.

This means that the foldable Pixel might only be available in the US at the time of its launch.

Though if you think about it, it only makes sense for Google to come up with a foldable smartphone, like many others, to have a presence in the segment.
