1,248 new COVID-19 cases, 26 additional deaths reported in Mass. - WCVB Boston

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health reported an additional 1,248 confirmed COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the statewide total to 551,550 since the start of the pandemic.

State health officials also added 26 confirmed COVID-19-related deaths to the state's total, which is now 15,822.

As of Monday, a total of 2,050,430 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been shipped to the state, of which 1,769,652 -- or 86.3% -- have been administered.
