Tuolumne County Public Health reports three new deaths due to Covid, all men who were unvaccinated, one in his 50s, one in his 60s, and a one in his 70s.

There are 11 new Covid cases since yesterday, with 14 who are unvaccinated.

Today’s newly reported cases had 3 cases age 17 or younger and 2 cases age 60 or older.

The total current case rate, a 14-day average for Tuolumne County decreased to 18.2 from 18.7 per 100,000 population yesterday.

A total of 58% of the population eligible to get vaccinated has been vaccinated.  There have been 1,621 inmate cases, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) reports no active Covid case at the Sierra Conservation Center.

Calaveras County Public Health reports 11 new cases, active cases decreased 2 to 29 with two hospitalized.

A total of two of the new cases are age 17 or younger and four are age 65 and older, in total 801 under ave 17 and 745 over 65 have been identified with covid.

There are 13 more recovered cases for a total of 4,252 cases recovered and 54.23% of the eligible population is fully vaccinated in the county.
