Brad Friedel believes America can be ‘a force to be reckoned with’ at the World Cup as he warned England and Wales about their star men.
Gregg Berhalter’s side will face England, Wales and Iran in the global tournament with USA looking to reach the Round of 16 for the third consecutive World Cup.
“I think it’s essential that we have the likes of Giovanni Reyna fit because he’s a very good player.
“I also think it’s important that a player like Timothy Weah [Lille winger] is fit, he’s another who’s had injury problems.
America kick off their World Cup campaign against Wales, before facing England on November 25 and Iran four days later.
