Note that the villagers running around outside will ask for Candy, but the villagers inside will give it out.

Giving Candy to your villagers is the only way to get the recipes for the Spooky Garland and Spooky Table Setting.

The DIY recipes for the Spooky Wand and the Spooky Carriage can only be obtained from giving Lollipops to Jack.
