The film stars Chris Pratt as the voice of the lethargic feline.

The film was originally announced all the way back in 2016, but several years went by before more news came to light.

The news came along not long after it was announced Pratt would also be voicing Mario in an animated film.

The film is being directed by Mark Dindal who previously directed The Emperor's New Groove and Chicken Little.
