Coronavirus: Another 1,010 positive cases reported in Orange County as of July 7 - OCRegister

The Orange County Health Care Agency  reported another 1,010 new cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed as of Tuesday, July 7.

The cumulative case total has reached 18,892 since testing began in March.

There were three new deaths recorded as of Tuesday, bringing the total number of Orange County residents who have died to 369.

According to the California Department of Health, there have been 91 COVID-19 deaths in Orange County in the last 14 days.

The state agency reports 839 hospitalized patients in the last 14 days (suspected and positive) in 33 hospitals across the county as of Tuesday.

The county estimates the number of recoveries from the virus was 8,867 as Tuesday.
