BOSTON (WWLP) – Every Wednesday, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health releases new numbers of coronavirus cases in every city in town.

In the last 14 days in western Massachusetts, Springfield has had 92 cases, Chicopee had 43 cases, and Holyoke had 40 cases.

Overall, Springfield has the highest number of cases in western Massachusetts with 3,076 cases, followed by Holyoke with 1,007 cases.

BOSTON (WWLP) – State public health officials on Wednesday reported 338 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in Massachusetts, bringing the total number of confirmed cases statewide to 111,371.
