El Paso records highest single-day increase in virus cases; 1 additional death - KVIA El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The Department of Public Health announced 197 new coronavirus cases and 1 additional death.

That's the largest single-day increase in cases since the pandemic reached El Paso.

There have been 3,069 confirmed cases, of those 1,059 are active.

The health department reports 1,921 El Pasoans have recovered.

There have been no new cases of the novel coronavirus among the hundreds who flouted social distancing guidelines and attended pool parties at Missouri’s Lake of the Ozarks over Memorial Day weekend, a state health official said this week.

That’s why, if there’s no explosion of cases in the coming month then it was BS, if there is an explosion of cases then it’s time to stay in the bunker.
