Humboldt County Public Health worked with the state to find extra doses and found two trays — or 2,340 doses — of Pfizer vaccine at a medical office in Fresno County.

When transporting those doses presented an additional challenge, Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims responded immediately, tasking her Sheriff’s Air Support Unit with delivery.
