G'Day USA: Katy Perry doesn't know lyrics to I Still Call Australia Home - Daily Mail

Katy Perry was quite literally lost for words on Saturday after being invited on stage to sing I Still Call Australia Home at the G'Day USA gala in Los Angeles.

The American singer, 38, joined a handful of Aussie celebrities, including Miranda Kerr, Paul Hogan and Delta Goodrem, for the patriotic singalong, but clearly didn't know the lyrics.

In one particularly cringeworthy moment, which aired on Sunrise on Monday, Katy froze on camera as Delta pushed the microphone in her face.

It was painfully obvious that Katy, who hails from Santa Barbara, California, was not familiar with Peter Allen's iconic 1980 song about Australian expatriates' longing for home
