Gloria Estefan is happy she didn’t end up performing alongside Jennifer Lopez and Shakira for the 2020 Super Bowl halftime show.
During her guest appearance on Wednesday’s “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” the Cuban singer confirmed she rejected the offer to join the ladies on the world’s biggest stage — and addressed Lopez’s comments about having to share the honor with another icon.
Throwing some subtle shade at Lopez, Estefan said, “OK, and imagine what J.Lo would have said if I was the third [performer]!”.
“This is the worst idea in the world to have two people do the Super Bowl,” a frustrated Lopez said of having to cut her set short in order to split time with Shakira, 45
