Google: Some Pixels are meant to get Android 12 instead of Android 13 - Android Authority

Google started pushing out Android 13 to supported Pixel devices this week, but it turns out some Pixel owners were prompted to install an Android 12 update rather than the brand-new update.

Now, Google has responded to the news in a statement to 9to5Google.

The search giant explained that it indeed meant to push out an Android 12 update to some Pixel owners running an older version of Android 12.
