Haunted island sim Cozy Grove works best on mobile - Polygon

It’s the sort of game that should be played in short bursts, and mobile feels perfect for that.

And, as it turns out, I preferred playing Cozy Grove — with its daily, short sessions — on my phone’s screen instead of my computer’s monitor.

Like Animal Crossing: New Horizons before it, Cozy Grove is a slice-of-fantasy-life simulation game that has the player revitalizing an island.

The big difference is that New Horizons’ island begins completely empty, while spirits lurk on the island in Cozy Grove, and need help bringing their home back to life.

I can see why some people might be annoyed by this; the world is a place that you want to stay in longer, but the short bursts of play are perfect for the mobile Cozy Grove player
