Crystal Dynamics promises that Marvel's Avengers will still look and run better via backwards compatibility on PS5 with faster load times and improved frame rates?

Theirs a side of me that feels joy when these live service games fail.

Obviously they need to make sure with any new content they add they do it properly, but...

From what I hear, the game really needs new content.

This game is a joke.

These lazy hollow shelled excuses of games stink worse than your annual sports titles that get blasted on every forum.

Even Spider-Man in Avengers will definitely lack all the euphoria I had when experiencing Spider-Man PS4 or even the Activision games like Ultimate Spider-Man.

I traded in some old games for this, and while the campaign was well done, everything after that was very unappealing to me.

I don't think I'll be going back to this game again any time soon.

They are unfortunately spinning their wheels so much with fixes and bug repairs they can't release their content on time?

It's a tough one and I feel for them, because the idea of a live service Avengers game is actually pretty cool.

How about they just make the whole grindy "game as service" part free2play, while continuously adding well done episodic campaigns with a 10-30 quid price tag depending on the volume.

And that it's not a slap in the face to those who bought it, make a "welcome back package" at a reduced price.

A whole lot of Marvel / Avengers fans old and young have been let down by this incompetent, wet fart of a game.

The problem with this game is Crystal Dynamics wasn't a great a developer as we thought.

Just imagine a Avengers game made by Platinum games, how freaking delicious would that look and play.

Heck Insomniac with have done pure magic with all these toys to use and would have used allot of the great Marvel villans instead of generic robots.

It would be great if they just...?

Should’ve been a Single Player / Story focused game and it would have sold WAY more.

The excessive grinding is really off- putting

Shame really

The people who have actually played the single player content know that the game is great

It still doesn't make it a bad game by any means

As already said a single player game done well would have sold millions (15 million for Spidey according to google)

If you want to experience a great solo adventure with the Avengers, this is quite a ride

Just pull the cord already, putting more recourses into a flop isn't going to revive it as we have seen time and time again

I feel bad for the developers who were forced to make this corporate product instead of a game they may have had passion for

Hmmm, so let me get this straight they delay this to give us a "true next gen" experience but they don't delay Marvel's Avengers to give us a "true superhero experience." What a joke this game is
