Maya Hawke to star in the Beatles-centric comedy Revolver with her dad Ethan Hawke - Daily Mail

Maya Hawke scored her biggest role to date with the news on Friday that she'll be starring in the upcoming comedy film Revolver.

The 22-year-old actress will play the lead role in the film about a surprise meeting with The Beatles in Alaska in the mid-1960s, Variety reported.

The film will be directed by Finding Dory's Andrew Stanton and written by Kate Trefry, who has previously written for Stranger Things. .

The Beatles retired from live performances in '66 and released their masterpiece Revolver; (L-R) Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and John Lennon of The Beatles in 1966.

Early last month, she joined a stacked cast including Andrew Garfield, Jason Schwartzman, Johnny Knoxville and Nat Wolff for the Venice Film Festival premiere of Mainstream, which was directed and co-written by Gia Coppola, the granddaughter of Francis Ford Coppola.
