Mid-Michigan becomes country's leading COVID-19 hotspot as cases increase - Midland Daily News

Midland County recorded 67 new COVID-19 cases and one new death on Friday, as mid-Michigan is quickly becoming the country's pandemic hotspot.

Pandemic total is 5,431 cases, 644 probable, 69 deaths and three probable deaths.

• Bay County: 95 cases and one probable death were added; pandemic total stands at 8,516 cases, 497 probable, 297 deaths and 13 probable deaths.

• Gladwin County: 21 cases were added; pandemic total stands at 1,527 cases, 313 probable, 40 deaths and three probable deaths.

• Isabella County: 79 cases were added; pandemic total stands at 4,307 cases, 670 probable, 77 deaths and 1 probable death.

• Saginaw County: 160 cases were added; pandemic total stands at 16,373 cases, 863 probable, 526 deaths and 14 probable deaths.
