Brooklyn Nets star James Harden is hopeful to play Game 5 against the Milwaukee Bucks and will test his right hamstring before tipoff Tuesday night.

"He wants to play," Nets coach Steve Nash said of Harden prior to Game 5.

Harden participated in the Nets' shootaround Tuesday morning with improvement in his right hamstring, and that prompted the team to upgrade his status from doubtful to questionable for Game 5 in Brooklyn, New York, sources said.

Harden was injured in the first minute of Game 1 of the Nets' series against the Bucks on June 5.
