According to Succession's costume designer Michelle Matland, Shiv's look in season three will evolve once again in the new episodes, with the character opting for more dresses and 1940s looks because 'she wants to be one of the Roy men, but at the same time there's a sexuality in her character that is so intrinsic to telling her story.'.
