Following in his talented uncle's footsteps has certainly worked out for Jason as he recently won multiple Primetime Emmy Awards for Ted Lasso including top honor Outstanding Comedy Series and individual gong Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

The series won four awards during the event last month which also included Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Supporting Actress in A Comedy Series, which were presented to Brett Goldstein and Hannah Waddingham.

At the Creative Arts Emmy Awards the show also picked up an additional three awards bringing the series' total wins to seven in 2021

In his first-ever Emmy win speech Sudeikis said: 'I would say that this show is about family, this show is about mentors and teachers, this show is about teammates, and I wouldn't be here without those three things in my life.'
