The Game Awards 2021 are nearly here, and it looks to not only celebrate the greatest games of the past year, but to also share a glimpse of the future with world premiere announcements and updates on not only some of the most anticipated titles headed to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PC, and beyond, but also TV shows and movies based on games.
The Game Awards 2021 will, once again, be hosted by its creator Geoff Keighley, and it promises awards, first-look world premieres, and new game announcements, along with musical performances, including The Game Awards Orchestra.
Speaking of world premieres and new game announcements, the ceremony will announce a "double digit" number of new games.
As for the awards themselves, there will be 30 categories that games of all types will be competing in, and they will all lead up to the moment the Game of the Year 2021 is announced.
