PassMark reports that the Core i9-11900K achieved its table-topping rating with a 100 MHz lower base clock speed than the Core i7-11700K; presumably, the Core i9 CPU has a higher boost clock than its Core i7 sibling, but the PassMark listing does not reveal this.

While the Core i9-11900K dominates PassMark's single thread ratings, PassMark believes that it cannot compete against AMD's high-end Vermeer SKUs in other metrics.
