Trisha Yearwood has COVID-19, Garth Brooks announces - Page Six

Country star Trisha Yearwood has contracted the novel coronavirus COVID-19, her husband Garth Brooks announced via Facebook Wednesday.

Brooks, 59, and Yearwood, 56, are “currently quarantining at home on the heels of a recent positive Covid test by a member of their team,” per “Team Garth”‘s post from Wednesday evening.

“Officially,” Brooks adds, Yearwood is “diagnosed as ‘on her way out of the tunnel’ now, though, which I’m extremely thankful for.”

“Anyone who knows me knows my world begins and ends with Miss Yearwood, so she and I will ride through this together,” Brooks said

Following their respective divorces, they started dating in 2002, and Brooks proposed to Yearwood onstage in 2005; the couple were married later that year and Yearwood became a stepmother to Brooks’ three daughters from his previous marriage
