NASA rocket launch could be visible in Georgia (NASA).

ATLANTA — NASA has postponed the launch of its Black Brant XII sounding rocket scheduled for Saturday night from Virginia to Sunday.

The rocket could be visible for 60 to 90 seconds over north Georgia.

“A four-stage Black Brant XII rocket will be used for the mission that includes the release of barium vapor that will form two green-violet clouds that may be visible for about 30 seconds,” NASA said.
