It may feel like just yesterday to many of us, but the initial announcement for Ultra Street Fighter 4's arrival will have been made a decade ago this year — so the FGC is already pretty far removed from where it was back then.

All of the major additions were generally deemed worthy of the upgrade, however, and Capcom attempted to quell any sour tastes by claiming Super would be the last main version of SF4... until they released Arcade Edition, which they again said would be the last.

This wouldn't necessarily be the primary issue facing USF4 since players had the option of upgrading their Super discs for $15, but there was trepidation about locking balance changes and features behind paid DLC once again.

While much can be said about what Elena, Rolento, and other big changes did to the mindset of the community, Top Hat Gaming Man focuses much more on how unimaginably busted the PlayStation 4 version of USF4 was upon release.

Instead of being the definitive experience, the PS4 port was an absolutely broken mess on all levels that many of us have likely forgotten mostly about at this point, and Capcom was forced to remove it from official tournaments in favor of the proven stable Xbox 360 version.

You can check out Top Hat Gaming Man's full video below to take a trip down memory lane and see just how glitchy and messed up Ultra Street Fighter 4 launched on PS4.
