Xbox OS update means Game Pass members can preload new games - Polygon

Xbox Game Pass members can pre-install certain games before they launch on the subscription service, thanks to the Xbox console update rolling out to the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Series S beginning today.

Likewise, games that are optimized for Xbox Series X and Series S will carry that badge on their icons, in both the Games and Full Library tabs of the My Games and Apps section.

For preloading Game Pass games that are coming soon, Microsoft notes that not all games in this section will have pre-install capabilities
