For those who have not yet finished watching the live-action Netflix Cowboy Bebop, this article, as well as the interview, may contain spoilers.

Prior to the November 19, 2021 release date of the live-action Cowboy Bebop, Netflix did not show off its version of Ed.

While the original anime and staff for Cowboy Bebop did not give Ed any particular pronouns, Perkins refers to Ed as she/her when discussing the character.
