Activision Blizzard Exec Says Last of Us HBO Proves Microsoft Acquisition Should Go Ahead - Push Square

Lulu Cheng Meservey, Activision Blizzard’s Executive Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Chief Communications Officer, thinks that HBO's adaptation of The Last of Us is great.

So good, in fact, that she believes it is proof that Microsoft's $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard should be allowed to go ahead.

Meservey goes on to state that Sony "continues to dominate" the console market, and that its impressive breadth of IP across gaming, TV, movies, and music is truly formidable.

She signs off by stating, "in gaming, Sony is “the first of us” - and they will be just fine without the FTC’s protection."

How much longer will this state of affairs continue?
