Apple designs face mask to curb COVID-19. Here's what you need to know - YourStory

has developed a self-designed mask for its employees to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The Apple face mask needs to be washed every eight hours, and each mask can be used up to five times (up to eight hours in each usage).

Its other mask called a 'ClearMask' claims to be the first FDA-cleared surgical mask that is completely transparent.

The iPhone maker is also working on its own transparent mask to be distributed to its employees in the future.

As of now, it is unclear if Apple plans on selling the Apple face mask or the ClearMask to the general public
