Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors football coach Todd Graham resigns amid allegations of mistreating players - ESPN India

Hawai'i football coach Todd Graham, facing mounting allegations of mistreating players in the program, resigned Friday after two seasons with the school.

Graham's decision comes a week after a state senate hearing in which former players provided testimony alleging verbal abuse and other problems within the culture of the football program.

"Our staff poured our hearts and souls into our players and truly made a difference in their lives," Graham said in a prepared statement.

Former players called Graham a "tyrant" and a "hypocrite" during the senate hearing, while Graham said no players were verbally abused and that he operates with a demanding coaching style.
