LA meteorologist collapses on live TV in frightening moment - New York Post

A local Los Angeles meteorologist suddenly collapsed while on live TV in a terrifying moment on Saturday morning.

CBS Los Angeles weather woman Alissa Carlson Schwartz’s co-anchors had just cut to her to deliver her 7 a.m. weather report when she appeared to turn white and leaned forward uneasily on her desk.

entertainmentSchwartz later posted on Facebook that she was “going to be ok!”schwartz.alissa/InstagramIt’s not clear what caused her to faint, however, TMZ reported that Schwartz experienced a similar episode back in 2014 when she was working at another network.

Schwartz vomited on set during a weather report and as a result was diagnosed with a leaky heart valve, according to the outlet.

“I want to thank [Schwarz’s] co-workers who took immediate action to comfort Alissa and call 911,” CBS Los Angeles Vice President and News Director Mike Dello Stritto told TMZ.
