Michigan reported 1,073 new coronavirus cases and one death Friday, Feb.

The state is averaging 1,020 new COVID-19 cases per day and 23 new deaths per day over the last week.

Since the start of the pandemic, Michigan has reported 586,425 confirmed cases and 15,454 deaths related to COVID-19.

Additionally, the state has reported 57,700 probable cases and 984 probable deaths, in which a physician and/or antigen test made a COVID-19 diagnosis, but without confirmation by PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test.
