Nor'easter Brings Heavy Snow, High Winds To East - The Weather Channel

A nor'easter is hammering parts of the Northeast with wet, heavy snow, rain, damaging winds and coastal flooding, and its effects are expected to linger into Wednesday.

Sage's latest status and storm reports: Snow continues to fall over parts of New England into eastern and central New York, northeast Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Many locations have picked up over two feet or more of snowfall from the storm in central and western Massachusetts, Vermont, southern New Hampshire and eastern New York.

Here's how much snowfall to expect: Areas from New England into upstate and central New York state and northeastern Pennsylvania will see the heaviest additional snow.

Snowfall amounts will drop dramatically as you near the immediate Interstate 95 corridor from downtown Boston to Providence and southward, where at least some rain is expected.

Snow and gusty winds from the storm then spread across the Northern Plains, upper Midwest and Great Lakes March 11-12.
